At Paws we believe every dog deserves a happy, healthy life.
We also understand that not everyone can afford the thousands a vet may charge simply to tell you to "remove chicken from the diet and come back" only to face the same issue and repeat the process.
We've been there. It's tough.
After countless vet visits and over 12 months of suffering bald patches, itchy skin, gut problems, and behavioural issues I had no idea what to do; it felt like a full time job trying to rule out what was causing it, trying to find decent food that was suitable and dealing with the stress that my best friend was suffering helplessly.
Something needed to happen, I got her tested privately, with a company not associated with my vets, and after a few weeks I received an e-mail.
Beef. Salmon. Rice.
After analysing the results I was able to determine her biggest problems were these three ingredients, three ingredients which the vets never considered, one of which was even recommended by the vets.
After a whole year of trial-and-error by the vets and thousands of pounds in consultation fees, I finally had the answer, as well as a list of other factors to keep an eye on.
After adjusting her food and researching some supplements to help out, I finally got my bouncy puppy back to how she should be.
